Play On - Challenge a Friend – Community Guidelines

1. Introduction
Welcome to Play On - Challenge a Friend, a social tournaments platform where players ("Player(s)") can broadcast content, participate in skill-based challenges, and share their results ("Play On - Challenge a Friend"). Play On - Challenge a Friend is operated by Papaya Stars Ltd. (“Papaya Stars”, “we”, “our,” or “us”). Our community is founded on openness, respect, and inclusivity, and we invite Players to join us in creating a supportive and welcoming environment.
These Community Guidelines ("Community Guidelines") outline the rules, norms, and expectations that help us maintain a safe and respectful space for all Players while allowing for the creative freedom to share diverse gameplay experiences. These Community Guidelines apply to all accounts and content, including but not limited to videos, texts, comments, and links. By accessing, installing, or using any of Play On - Challenge a Friend's services, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines, which are integrated into our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Except for terms defined herein, all capitalized terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.
We take violations of these Community Guidelines seriously. If we discover that a Player has violated any of these standards, we may take actions, such as content removal, issuing a warning, or suspending the offending account. We encourage all Players to report any content or accounts they believe violate these Community Guidelines. Our team will promptly investigate and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Reports can be submitted via support@papayastars.com.
Please note that these Community Guidelines may evolve as our community grows.
2. Protection of Minors
Play On - Challenge a Friend provides a broad range of content for all Players, but we recognize that not all of it may be suitable for Minors. To ensure a safe and age-appropriate experience, we limit access to certain types of content and prevent Minors from accessing them, including, but not limited to, graphic violence, explicit language, and adult themes. We are investing commercially reasonable efforts to ensure protections Minors from content that may not be suitable for their age.
We take multiple measures to ensure the safety and well-being of Minors on Play On - Challenge a Friend. Depending on your age, certain features and content may be restricted. For example, we automatically apply privacy settings that limit who can view your profile and content, and provide tools to filter out material that may not be appropriate for Minors. Additionally, we offer options for parents and guardians to manage what their Minor can access. We may also further restrict the content and features you are able to access based on the laws governing the use of social media by Minors in your jurisdiction.
3. Prohibited Content and Behaviors
While the following list outlines specific prohibited content and behaviors, this is not an exhaustive list. We reserve the right to take action against any activity that we believe threatens the safety and well-being of our community members.
Safety, harm and violence
We take a firm stance against any activities that could jeopardize your life or lead to harm, whether physical or emotional. We will remove any threats of violence that could lead to death or serious injury, and any admissions of violence that led to, or could have led to, death or serious injury. This includes but not limited to explicit and implicit threats, as well as threats where a method of violence is not clearly identified. We will also remove any content that depicts real-world torture, death, or mutilation.
We do not permit the sharing or promotion of content that promotes, encourages, facilitates, or instructs on suicide, self-harm, or dangerous behavior that might result in self-harm. If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of self-harm or suicide, help is available. Reach out to a suicide prevention hotline or local emergency services. In cases where there is an imminent and credible risk of harm, we may contact emergency responders to ensure safety.
Bullying, harassment and hate speech
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of bullying and harassment, whether directly or through the influence you hold over others. We do not allow any Player to harass, personally shame, demean, marginalize, degrade, or perpetuate negative stereotypes about any other Player or user, nor do we permit bullying statements or behavior. While we permit and even encourage - fair, sportsmanlike statements made in competition between Players, any statement that degrades or harasses a Player crosses the line, even if it is made in the spirit of competition. This includes unwanted statements that are repetitive or sexually harassing in nature, and any statements made to encourage bullying, harassment, or degradation.
We do not tolerate any form of hate or discrimination. We do not allow content that promotes hate speech, including calls for exclusion or discrimination. This applies to any harmful actions targeting individuals based on factors like race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, health conditions, caste, or immigration status.
Any Player found threatening the safety or well-being of others, whether through threats, stalking, or incitement, will be removed from Play On - Challenge a Friend.
Adult and sexually explicit content
We strictly prohibit any content that is sexually explicit, suggestive, or may create discomfort, objectification, or a sense of threat. This includes any inappropriate text, images, videos, or audio, as well as sexual language, gestures, and emojis. Offering or soliciting sexual services or interactions is also forbidden and will result in immediate account suspension and possible reporting to relevant authorities.
Additionally, Papaya Stars prohibits any content or activities that endanger underage Players. This includes the creation, sharing, or promotion of content that involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, as well as any form of sexual exploitation, misconduct, or grooming. Content depicting sexualized images of underage Players, promoting their sexualization, or identifying victims of abuse will not be tolerated. Such actions will be promptly addressed, including reporting to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local authorities, when necessary.
Misinformation
In a diverse global community, differing opinions are natural, but we strive to base our interactions on shared facts and a common understanding of reality. We do not tolerate misinformation that could cause significant harm to an individual, a group of individuals, or society at large, regardless of intent. Content that spreads misinformation and could result in moderate harm, such as misleading health information, conspiracy theories, manipulated media, or misquoted authoritative sources, is not allowed.
Malicious and deceptive practices
We prohibit any attempts to abuse the security, reliability, or integrity of Play On - Challenge a Friend, or the experience of another Player or their devices. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing Play On - Challenge a Friend's platform through unauthorized means, such as hacking or using stolen login credentials, spreading viruses, malware, phishing attempts, social engineering tactics or other harmful software or engaging in any activity that could harm the functionality or performance of Play On - Challenge a Friend. We also prohibit any content that encourages, facilitates, instructs, or promotes cheating, or the exploitation of bugs or glitches on the Play On - Challenge a Friend platform. If you find an issue with the Play On - Challenge a Friend platform, you should report it to us via support@papayastars.com, not encourage others to exploit it.
Additionally, we prohibit any attempts to deceive, mislead, or manipulate other Players through dishonest means. This includes impersonating another Player or any other user, engaging in scams or other deceptive practices, or creating or distributing misleading content that encourages Players to engage in illegal activities, such as attempting to steal personal information or gain unauthorized access to other accounts.
Regulated goods
We understand that substances such as alcohol, tobacco, and drugs come with inherent risks. While adults make personal decisions regarding these substances, we do not allow the trade, sale, or promotion of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs on Play On - Challenge a Friend. This includes any content that promotes, encourages, facilitates, or instructs on the abuse of lawful controlled substances.
We also do not permit the promotion or facilitation of gambling, betting, or any activities that resemble gambling. This includes any content that glamorizes or encourages these practices, especially as they may negatively impact vulnerable individuals.
Furthermore, we acknowledge the serious dangers associated with firearms and explosive weapons. Content that depicts these weapons, particularly when used in unsafe or inappropriate contexts, is strictly prohibited. We do not allow the trade, sale, or promotion of firearms or explosives, nor will we accept content that showcases their use in a harmful or unsafe manner.
Illegal activities
We require all Players to adhere to local, national, and international laws while using Play On - Challenge a Friend. Any content or behavior that encourages, facilitates, promotes, instructs on, or engages in illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, actions related to terrorism, organized crime, human trafficking, swatting, money laundering, or any other activities that threaten public safety. Such content may be reported to the relevant authorities. Please remember that you are accountable for your actions on Play On - Challenge a Friend's platform. Any violation of the law or failure to comply with these Community Guidelines may result in disciplinary action, including the removal of content or suspension of your account.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and respectful environment for everyone, and your cooperation is essential to achieving that goal. We expect Players to follow all applicable legal and regulatory guidelines, and we rely on the vigilance of our community to help identify and remove inappropriate or unlawful content. If you encounter content that you believe violates our Community Guidelines or is harmful in any way, we encourage you to report it immediately. Each report will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate actions will be taken, which may include removing the content and alerting law enforcement when necessary.
4. Authenticity and Originality
We value authenticity and originality in the content and challenges Players create and share. We believe that every Player has a unique perspective and voice that can contribute to our community's diversity. As a result, we encourage Players to post their own original content and respect their ownership of that material. Sharing a video of your participation in creator's challenge is a valuable form of engagement. We recognize that this type of collaboration adds value to our community by encouraging creativity while respecting the original creator's rights and contributions.
We also have a responsibility to maintain the integrity of Play On - Challenge a Friend and ensure that all content is truthful, accurate, and not intentionally misleading. We do not tolerate any content that misrepresents the identity of other Players or is designed to deceive our Players. This includes deep-fakes, faked, impersonating, manipulated, or edited content that alters the original context of the material.
Any content that you post, create, publish, or use cannot infringe or violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights. When you create, publish, or post content on Play On - Challenge a Friend, you must either own or have the rights to share and publish that content on Play On - Challenge a Friend. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon by Players, we urge you to report the infringement to us so that we can take appropriate action in our Copyrights Notice page and Trademark Notice page.
5. Monetization
We may offer tools for Players to generate revenue from their content. However, to access monetization features, Players must be at least eighteen (18) years old and meet the necessary eligibility criteria. Any violations of our rules, especially in relation to commercial content, may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on monetization capabilities.
We also require full transparency when content involves paid promotions or material relationships. If you are marketing a product, service, or brand, whether for yourself or a third party, you must disclose these relationships clearly, using the appropriate content disclosure setting. Failure to do so will render your content ineligible for features and may result in enforcement action.
6. Protect Personal Information
Sharing or posting personal information about other Players without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, personal details such as photos, videos, profiles, audio recordings, full names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. To put it plainly: No doxxing.
Additionally, the sharing of any confidential or sensitive information that you do not have the legal right to disclose is also forbidden. This includes information protected by law or otherwise considered private.
We also advise all Players to be cautious when sharing their own personal information on Play On - Challenge a Friend or elsewhere online. This includes sensitive information such as financial information, social security numbers and passwords. Such information can be exploited for identity theft or fraud and should be safeguarded accordingly.
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Community Guidelines, we encourage you to report it using our built-in reporting button or via support@papayastars.com. You can report any inappropriate content or any other behavior that goes against our Community Guidelines. When submitting a report, please provide as much detail as possible, such as links, usernames, and a description of the content, to help our team quickly locate and review the issue. Please note that while we make every effort to enforce our guidelines consistently, we cannot guarantee that all content will be fully compliant.
Once a report is submitted, content undergoes an initial automated review process. Based on the severity of the violation, if it is flagged as a violation, it may be removed immediately or sent for further review by our moderation team. If the content continues to gain attention or is flagged multiple times, it will be prioritized for additional evaluation.
